When looking for a used car, there are hundreds of ways to find one. You could pick up your local paper and in the back there are usually some listed in the classified ads in the back. Alternatively you could buy a car magazine, which specializes in the advertisement and sall cars in print. Usually adverts are sold to the car dealers by the page, where someone browsing for a car would come across a page of one dealers cars and a listing of his address. The dealer in this case is trying to show case his cars to people in the immediate area (say within 20 miles radius) and hopefully some one will like what he has for sale. Another reason is he could be a car dealer who specializes in rare or unfamiliar cars and would hope people would be buying this magazine to find what they require for this reason. But media print is expensive and a dealer can expect to pay up to $1000 per page in this magazine with no way of checking how many people viewed his cars. The best and cheapest way for a car dealers to advertise his cars is on the Internet. 80% of all people find their next used car by searching the Internet. There are 1000s of used cars websites available to people searching on the net. A dealer can have an account with these websites and for a monthly fee can show all his cars to the public. Its very simple to use and he is in control of his stock at all times. Usually the website will give him a user name and password and all he has to do is to upload his cars to the website and therefore on to the Internet. Recently I have had the pleasure of trying out a new website in Ireland. The website is called Cars for sale Ireland and I found it quite easy and simple to use. To get my self on the site I typed cars for sale into Google while searching in .ie and it was the second result shown, I clicked on it and entered the website, when the page loaded I found myself on a sharp page with a menu at the top and 3 large buttons underneath. The 3 buttons were well explained as the first said sell your car here so I knew what that meant, the second button said auto directory, so being unsure what this was I clicked on it and was pleasantly surprised to find service professionals advertising their services to patrons of the website, the third button said buy and sell and by clicking on this I found myself in another section where the public were selling goods associated with the motor industry which they had in their gardens and sheds as these goods were secondhand. Over on the far right of the site was a quick search module with and advanced search below so no worries about what that was for. I next turned my attention to the menu at the top, the first was a cars for sale Ireland button which was the home page button, the second button said Cars Ireland latest and clicking on this I found it brought me to all the latest cars listed on the site, the third button said browse cars and clicking on this brought me to a page where I could look for cars and vans in many different ways, like by fuel type, by make, by price, by body type, and so on. The fourth button brought me to car dealers and I found car dealers listed by county and by clicking on the county I desired I found car dealers listed for each county I visited. Once on the car dealers for say county Dublin I could now click on the car dealers name and view his used cars. The next two buttons five and six brought me to the auto directory and buy and sell section again, and finally the seventh button was a contact us which was as it said. I really enjoyed my visit to the car website and if I were selling a car in Ireland I would certainly avail of this service. To finish I think that car websites like cars for sale Ireland are the future of car sales and there is no better way for car dealers to sell cars or buy used cars than on the internet. If I was looking for a used car in Ireland I would look no further than Cars for Sale Ireland website. |
